i talked to dave on the phone, then went and hung out at natilies work, then we went to the pub.
i had forgotten how it feels to be surrounded by my friends. it's like, this warm feeling, that you know you can say anything (except about gary and w**king :O) and not feel silly. i had such a laugh tonight, i feel so much better.
we always go to this one little pub, called the gade and goose. we have been going there since we were old-enough-looking to go to pubs. it's old, and tatty, and our parents went there. but it's like, our pub.
i'll go into a bit more detail about the people i was with :)
russell
russell and i...go way back. we have, a weird thing, thats hard to explain. we used to 'go out' when we were like, 14. now, we just get on really well, i guess. there have been times when he has tried it on, and times when i have, over the past 7 years, but in all, we just stay friends. russell has an 'interested party' at the moment. he met her at a taxi rank! they are just skirting around each other right now, it's sweet.
jamie
is just loverly. he lives just with his mummy, who isn't very well. she has ME or something like that. he tries so hard, and is the sweetest person when you get to know him. it's sad because many girls just don't give him the chance. he has a girlfriend right now, but they are both too shy to do anything together!
gary
is a tough little cookie. he had a bit of a ball and chain relationship for a while, with a girl who had a kid. he finally got out of it, but is a changed man, and its easy to wind him up. he is single (but looking!)
kerry
is quiet, but a bit of a raver boy at heart. he went out with natilie for a while, but now has finally told us (we suspected all along) that he is gay. he seems happy with that, although he seems to have about 4 different blokes on the go
natilie
i met at my old work, at a cafe. she is cool :) she has a boyfriend called matt, from sweden o_O he has a cool little house. they get on really well, and look really weet together. natilie is also our taxi, as she is the only on with a car :)
and thats who i was with. i have a really nice evening, and i feel happy (for a change) and better about being at home :)
